- Expert user of PLS CADD and PLS TOWER
- Hold a B.Eng or BSc in Civil or Structural Engineering with relevant design experience in Transmission & Distribution sector
- Hold or actively working towards professional chartered status

What the job involves
- Manage day to day overhead line design activities and produce effective high quality design solutions
- Develop design processes, policy, and training material
- Perform the role of Contractor Design Assurance Engineer on National Grid projects
- Liaise with other engineers and technicians to maximize productivity
- Provide technical advice and oversight of Design Engineers
- Collaborate with Design Delivery Manager and internal/external customers for project and budgetary controls
- Be a team player and go the extra mile as required
