Remote Senior Development Engineer Job in UK E.ON UK

Who you are

• Degree Educated in Engineering (B.Eng./M.Eng. MSC) or HND/Experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, Materials, or Chemical Engineering
• Good understanding of CDM Regulations
• Experience/knowledge of Industry standards and industrial sector
• Proven track record in detailed Project Development reports
• Sound commercial understanding and awareness of wider impacts of decisions
• In-depth knowledge of private/public sector & commercial procurement
• Ability to develop technical models and simulate client utility systems
• Personal responsibility for Health and Safety within the Development function
• Management of Health and Safety to ensure compliance with legislation

What the job involves

• Provide engineering solutions for problem resolution, energy profile reduction, and low carbon functionality
• Lead the Development Team in the UK
• Take the lead technical role for larger, more complex projects
• Oversee key project development metrics and budgets
• Build relationships with customers and understand their requirements
• Manage feasibility and concept design process for decarbonisation proposals
• Allocate team workload and ensure project objectives are maintained
• Work with internal stakeholders to deliver projects
