Who you are

  • U.S. Citizenship Required
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Experience with build automation CM tools – Jenkins and Gitlab
  • Knowledge of implementing CI/CI pipeline
  • Experience in Jira to support DevOps implementation in an Agile environment
  • Adept at problem-solving, troubleshooting, collaboration, time management, multi-tasking, and task-ownership
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Public Trust (DHS HQ EOD required to start; must be able to obtain DHS HQ Final Suitability)

Desirables

  • Degree in computer engineering, computer science, information systems, or related technical discipline
  • Experience with build-time dependency management (Maven, Ivy)
  • Experience with unit testing and code-coverage tools (JUnit)
  • Experience with functional test automation techniques and tools (Selenium, etc.)
  • Knowledge of source code control management systems and configuration management (Git, Subversion, etc.)
  • Knowledge of code branching/merging strategies
  • Experience with Gitlab CI and runners
  • Experience with development teams on building and merging as well as managing code branching
  • Experience in Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL, and SQL*Plus
  • Experience in UNIX/LINUX shell scripting
  • Proven track record as a self-learner
