Requirements
- 5+ years in DevOps SRE SysOps or Platform Engineering with ownership of production AWS environments
- Deep hands-on AWS experience across IAM compute networking managed databases storage secrets and observability
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or OpenTofu including modules remote state drift management and multi-environment setups
- Strong security instincts with least-privilege access secrets management and credential handling
- CI/CD fluency ideally GitHub Actions including OIDC keyless cloud authentication
- Production operations experience with observability alerting incident response backups and disaster recovery
- Bias for shipping and a track record of delivering hardening migration and reliability work
- Self-sufficient in a lean team and comfortable owning large areas independently
- Clear written communication self-direction and remote-first working style

Day to day
- Own and evolve AWS cloud infrastructure for a financial platform as part of a tight-knit platform team.
- Drive infrastructure improvements across security reliability observability and delivery while keeping production standards high.
- Operate highly available services with strong SLOs alerting on-call discipline and tested disaster recovery practices.
- Improve IaC CI/CD monitoring backups and cost efficiency while partnering closely with engineers and reviewing infrastructure changes.
