Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the renewables and environment industry focused on the energy transition
- Hands-on experience with battery storage energy generation technologies
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects
- At least 5 years of experience working with utilities customers and external engineering partners
- Strong knowledge of IEEE standards and NFPA-related electrical standards
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Able to travel to client sites as needed
- Experience with PV solar energy generation technologies
- Background negotiating contracts and overseeing delivery schedules
- Experience with power system modeling tools for load flow studies as well as solar or storage design software and AutoCAD
- Familiarity with energy efficiency measures
- Experience managing consulting engineers and vendors
- PE license

Day to day
- Lead electrical design and provide technical support across distributed energy projects.
- Review single-line diagrams load flow studies and interconnection packages with strong engineering judgment.
- Collaborate with utilities customers and consultants to ensure safe compliant and high-performing project execution.
- Support commissioning and operational troubleshooting for energy assets while resolving technical issues efficiently.
