Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- 8+ years of direct involvement in analog and power circuit design
- Experience performing power equipment design involving power supplies and/or inverters
- Experience with control and communications equipment plus supporting circuits for a complex system
- Working knowledge of the latest National Electric Code (NEC)
- Experience specifying selecting and integrating electrical components
- Understanding of AC voltage theory including three phase circuits and transformers
- Experience with DC components and circuits
- Proficient in reading component specifications and electrical drawings
- Proficient in creating system level wiring and schematic diagrams
- Solid experience with the electro-mechanical aspects of a system product
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written

Day to day
- Design electrical and electromechanical systems for hardware integration, following NEC standards and robust engineering practices.
- Develop and verify power circuits, create test plans and procedures, and support design verification testing.
- Collaborate with suppliers and contract manufacturing partners, contribute to reviews, and produce clear end-user documentation.
