Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
- Professional Engineer license
- 20+ years of electrical engineering experience in consulting environments
- Strong knowledge of medium and low voltage power distribution systems substations switchgear protective relaying MCCs VFDs emergency and standby power systems and industrial grounding systems
- Experience with electrical power system modeling software such as SKM ETAP or equivalent
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written communication technical report writing and client interaction skills
- Ability to work independently while leading project teams and coordinating multiple concurrent assignments
Nice to have
- Project management experience
- NETA testing knowledge
- NFPA 70B familiarity
- Multi-state licensure
Day to day
- Lead electrical engineering and design for capital and maintenance projects from concept through commissioning.
- Produce and review detailed deliverables such as single-line diagrams power distribution designs equipment layouts cable schedules grounding systems and wiring diagrams.
- Perform system studies calculations and technical evaluations while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams mentoring junior staff and supporting clients as a trusted technical advisor.
