Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoW Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 8+ years of professional experience in electrical power systems and/or microgrids
  • Deep expertise with MATLAB/Simulink
  • Experience with supervisory control methods for power systems especially maritime systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to deliver clear technical reports and concise briefings to stakeholders

Day to day

  • Provide deep technical expertise in naval power and energy systems with a focus on hardware performance physics component controls and supervisory system controls
  • Develop client-facing models simulations and reports that clearly communicate technical findings and support decision-making
  • Develop test and validate software for supervisory control of naval power systems and build real-time simulation models for hardware-in-the-loop environments
