Remote Senior Engineer Hardware Prototyping Emulation Job in Palo Alto, CA CompuGain

Who you are

• MS in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering plus 2-5 years of relevant industry experience
• BS in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering plus 5+ years of relevant industry experience
• Industry standard emulation technologies such as Palladium Zebu or Veloce
• Strong coding skills in SystemVerilog and scripting/automation languages
• Knowledge of emulation compilation flows debug capabilities and performance tuning
• Working knowledge of Linux / Unix environment
• Familiarity with bug tracking and code revision control tools
• Strong teamwork organization and communication skills

What the job involves

• Work hands-on with RTL design design verification and software engineers to develop emulation models and workflows and debug block chip and system level issues on industry standard platforms
• Develop high performance transactors and emulation models in SystemVerilog and C/C++
• Develop and optimize build and runtime flows to enable quick turnaround of functional and performance issues
• Drive improvements by harnessing the capabilities of the emulator technology and by identifying/fixing bottlenecks in the test bench collateral
• Proactively monitor and resolve issues ensuring efficient utilization of the platform through automation and other innovations
• Partner with external vendors to debug and quickly resolve blocking issues pioneer and deploy new capabilities
