What the job involves

• Lead a team with deep historical impact at Airbnb that enables complex motion designs, accessible UX at scale, and tooling that leverages AI. Establish a long-term vision for the UI Foundation team aligned with Airbnb’s mission. Foster an inclusive team culture by encouraging collaboration, technical excellence, and innovation.
• Level up leadership within the team through effective hiring, coaching, and feedback. Manage the team’s roadmap, balance present and future investments, and ensure high-quality delivery. Strengthen the team’s partnerships with key stakeholders in Engineering, Design, and Product.
• Ensure high-quality delivery of projects by establishing sustainable planning processes and prioritizing them. Encourage a product mindset and calculated risks to drive execution. Involve in all stages of the product lifecycle from conceptualization to launch.
