Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical engineering product design or industrial engineering with parametric CAD modeling
- Advanced proficiency in FreeCAD or equivalent parametric CAD platforms
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design fundamentals including GD&T and DFM best practices
- Ability to produce comprehensive technical drawings and documentation for manufacturing and assembly
- Experience conducting engineering QA and verifying model integrity and compliance with specifications
- Python scripting for CAD model automation is highly advantageous
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills for remote project-based collaboration

Day to day
- Create, modify, and validate detailed parametric CAD models in FreeCAD to meet project requirements
- Develop and optimize mechanical assemblies using best practices in assembly design and component integration
- Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and Design for Manufacturing principles to ensure manufacturability and quality
- Generate clear technical drawings and documentation for engineering review and downstream processes
- Conduct engineering QA reviews of CAD models and drawings to identify and resolve issues
- Use Python scripting for CAD automation tasks where needed
