Who you are

• 5+ years frontend development with a proven track record of continuous improvement
• Proven experience with Shopify theme development and customization
• Expert knowledge of modern JavaScript HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g. Redux MobX)
• Strong knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Proven track record of optimizing web performance and implementing best practices for SEO
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

What the job involves

• Develop and optimize high-performance responsive web applications using React and Shopify's liquid templating language
• Implement and refine our ecommerce strategy focusing on improving conversion rates for both sales and Plus subscriptions
• Collaborate on pricing strategies and implement A/B testing for merchandising
• Streamline subscription management and operations
• Automate marketing workflows to reduce engineering bottlenecks
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Design QA and backend developers
