Who you are

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering including both front and back end development.
• Experience leading a Software Engineering Team.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles.
• Proficient in Git NodeJS CSS HTML jQuery JavaScript React Typescript Redux MongoDB AWS and cloud computing platforms like AWS Azure and Google Cloud.
• Expertise in continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Excellent understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in English.

What the job involves

• Maintain the current code base.
• Develop new features to support users.
• Focus on growth engineering from ideation to completion through quick iterations and a cycle of build-measure-learn.
• Collaborate with product managers designers tech leads and developers on project plans and technical execution.
• Mentor and coach developers providing technical guidance and feedback.
• Participate in code reviews design reviews and engineering meetings to ensure code quality and alignment with TryHackMe technical standards.
• Write high-quality maintainable code using modern languages and frameworks such as JavaScript Typescript NodeJS React.
• Develop and maintain databases and data models including query optimization.
• Monitor and analyze system performance to resolve issues and bottlenecks.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in software development and share knowledge with the team.
• Participate in Agile development methodologies including sprint planning stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and practices.
