Requirements
- 4+ years of hardware engineering experience with depth in mechanical and electrical disciplines
- Direct experience with connected device hardware such as telematics IoT camera or streaming systems
- Hands-on experience with plastic and metal enclosure design including CNC injection molding or similar
- Working knowledge of electrical component selection sourcing and integration for embedded products
- Proven experience managing supply chains and vendor relationships for components and manufacturing
- Experience running field test programs and translating results into design improvements
- Strong cross-functional communication skills across product engineering operations and QA

Day to day
- Own the full lifecycle of hardware products from electrical and mechanical design through manufacturing and field validation.
- Design and specify connected and embedded device hardware including PCB-level electrical components and mechanical enclosures.
- Prototype iterate and troubleshoot units while bridging electrical mechanical and supply chain considerations.
