Who you are
- Experience of working in a combined hardware and software integration and testing environment
- Domain knowledge in Energy and Smart Metering
- Expert knowledge of testing tools and techniques such as TestComplete and Selenium
- Scripting and API replication
- Problem-solving skills
- Relevant accreditation or qualification such as ISTQB qualification
What the job involves
- The Senior Integration and Testing (I&T) Engineer performs end-to-end testing and validation of combined software solutions, including Smart Meters, comms hubs, in home displays (IHD’s) and smart devices; and how they interact with other systems in the customer journey.
- Responsibilities include applying automated test tools to the I&T process and writing automated test cases.
- You will provide technical direction to others in the team based on prior experience and knowledge and will be relied on as a source of hardware and software testing expertise across IT.
