Remote Senior Infrastructure DevOps Engineer Job in UK DXC Technology

Who you are

• Candidates must be UK based and eligible for SC Clearance.
• Must have recent experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, and AWS.
• Ability to conduct investigations and tests of complex software systems to enhance performance or resolve significant issues.
• Experience in automating application deployment and configuration management with tools like RedHat, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
• Knowledge of IAC technologies such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Strong Linux Sysadmin skills and knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker & Kubernetes).
• Good understanding of internet communication concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
• Experience deploying Continuous Integration solutions.
• Awareness of security considerations in web application deployment.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, EKS, RDS, Aurora, networking, and cost management.
