Requirements
- Multiple year track record of leading the technical work of a team in ML in a fast-moving tech company
- Impact driven and excited to own the end to end journey
- Self-starter mindset with proactive identification of issues and opportunities
- Solid grounding in SQL and Python
- Experience developing and shipping deep learning, graph-based, and/or sequence-based ML architectures to production
- Comfortable exploring ambiguous business problems in a complex organisation
- Experience in mentoring other ML practitioners
- Comfortable moving across teams optimising for impact
Nice to have
- Experience with NLP tasks
- Commercial experience writing critical production code and working with microservices
Day to day
- As a Senior Lead ML Scientist, you’ll provide key technical leadership and ship highly impactful ML-based solutions
- You’ll mentor and level up less experienced ML practitioners
- You’ll collaborate across not only the data disciple, but with cross-functional squads, to deliver real-time models all the way to actual value
