Who you are

• Excellent academic qualifications degree
• Qualified lawyer in a European jurisdiction
• Good understanding of commercial law and its practical applications in business
• 5-10 years post-qualification experience indicative requirement
• Hands-on experience in contract preparation review negotiation
• Proven track record in managing and influencing internal and external stakeholders
• Experience with cloud-based contract management tools essential
• Telecoms IT experience advantageous
• IT PC literacy essential
• Fully fluent in English written and verbal ideally other languages
• Ability to draft negotiate amend complex legal documents

What the job involves

• Manage legal risk for tasks advising on commercial legal support across Europe with focus on qualified jurisdictions and cross-border issues
• Support commercial transactions negotiate with customers ensuring GTT processes compliance
• Draft amend and negotiate commercial agreements in telecommunications cloud services and software licenses
• Liaise with internal stakeholders like sales finance pricing product for policy compliance and contractual risk mitigation
• Advise on issues like data protection company law employment law litigation regulatory affairs insolvency licensing IPR
• Instruct external counsel on European legislation in cost-effective manner and manage legal requests
• Proactively collaborate with colleagues and external counsel ensuring ethical and responsible dealings
