Requirements
- Qualified lawyer in England and Wales with at least 4 years of experience
- Background in healthcare, healthcare technology, regulatory compliance, and data protection
- Experience in legal drafting and negotiation
- Experience managing and leading legal risk and compliance initiatives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proven knowledge and experience with GDPR and e-privacy
Nice to have
- In-house experience
- Experience in e-commerce, marketing, and consumer law
- Knowledge of Irish, French, or German laws
- Knowledge of the G Suite
- Knowledge of OneTrust or similar tools
- Ability to speak French and/or German
Day to day
- Provide legal advice to senior leadership on corporate, commercial, intellectual property, privacy, marketing, and regulatory matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including service agreements, collaborations, licensing agreements, and vendor contracts
- Stay current with industry regulations and develop compliance programs
- Identify and mitigate legal risks, oversee litigation and employment matters
- Manage data protection compliance, ensure robust data security practices, and collaborate with relevant teams for compliance
