Requirements
- 2-3 years’ experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating core transactional documents
- Experience with private equity, asset management, or hedge fund clients
- Understanding of typical fund transaction structures and timelines
- Initiative and problem-solving skills
- Technical and commercial skills in and outside of law
- Interest in developing client management skills
- Motivated by a fast-paced, diverse, and intellectually challenging environment
Day to day
- This role involves working directly with investment teams at large private equity and debt funds, financial institutions, and corporates as they explore transaction opportunities. You will review and negotiate contracts, using Robin’s AI technology and your own legal experience. Additionally, you will review the work of junior team members and assist with their professional development.
- You will help establish and agree contract playbooks with clients. You will also test Robin’s technology products and provide feedback to the engineering and machine learning teams. As the company continues to grow, you will have opportunities to get involved in exciting business-related projects, including supporting future fundraising rounds.
