Requirements

  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Physics, or a related technical field
  • 4+ years of experience as a data scientist or machine learning engineer
  • Proven track record of deploying machine learning models to production environments (or strong interest in learning)
  • Strong proficiency in Python and machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, statsmodels)
  • Experience working with SQL and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) is a plus

Day to day

  • Work with peers to develop ML models for production with support from the dedicated engineering team
  • Align closely with analysts, stakeholders, and data engineers to define solutions to pressing problems
  • Innovate on pricing and recommendation systems to impact company revenue directly and measurably
  • Foster a collaborative environment with ownership of modeling efforts and participation in project planning
