Requirements
- Direct management experience with data engineers and or analytics engineers including hiring coaching and performance management
- Experience leading end to end data production from platform to analytics mart
- Hands-on data infrastructure experience in pipeline orchestration warehousing and platform reliability
- Hands-on SQL based modeling experience sufficient to evaluate modeling and metrics decisions
- Track record of setting technical roadmaps and making investment cases to leadership
- Ability to evaluate and communicate architectural and modeling tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience partnering with non-technical stakeholders to define metrics and resolve conflicting data priorities

Day to day
- Unify the data platform and analytics engineering work under one leader accountable for the full path from raw data to trusted tables and metrics.
- Set and execute the technical roadmap across ingestion pipeline architecture modeling and the stakeholder-facing data layer, prioritizing work against business needs.
- Directly manage Analytics Engineers and Data Engineers while reviewing architecture decisions guiding platform investments and resolving complex production issues.
