Requirements

  • ACA from ICAEW
  • Extensive knowledge of UK GAAP and substantial financial accounting experience
  • Ability to apply complex accounting standards and principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience designing and implementing efficient financial accounting processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership skills with experience guiding a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and financial software
  • Experience leading preparation and review of statutory financial statements
  • Proficient experience in leading and managing external audits
  • Considerable experience in financial data analysis and balance sheet reviews
  • Experience advising multidisciplinary teams on financial best practices
  • Understanding of key tax computations including VAT and corporation tax

Nice to have

  • Swiss GAAP knowledge
  • Charity sector experience

Day to day

  • Lead financial accounting and statutory audit processes to ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and accounting standards
  • Prepare accurate financial statements reports and balance sheet reviews that support transparency regulatory compliance and financial integrity
  • Provide expert advice on accounting and tax matters while helping embed financial best practices across multidisciplinary teams
