Remote Senior Manager - SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Job in United States Nutanix

Who you are

• 7+ years of accounting experience, with 4-5 years of public accounting experience, ideally in the technology industry
• Strong technical accounting background with thorough knowledge of ASC 842, ASC 350, ASC 985, ASC 740 and ASC 450
• Ability to document and communicate complex accounting and reporting issues clearly
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and meet deadlines
• Proactive and effective management skills
• Experience with SOX, including design and execution of controls
• Collaborative and team-oriented personality
• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
• BA/BS Degree in Accounting
• CPA preferred

What the job involves

• Conduct accounting research and prepare/review technical accounting memos regarding significant/complex transactions
• Develop and maintain financial policies in response to operational changes, technical accounting and internal control requirements
• Coordinate and prepare presentations for executive management and the Audit Committee
• Review SEC filings and key financial statement disclosures
• Partner with auditors for timely completion of reviews and audits
• Participate in quarter-end close activities and ad hoc duties as assigned
