Role


Who you are

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or related field AND 4+ years of experience in media, marketing, or advertising on the client or agency side OR equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in AdOps, with knowledge of data architecture, analytics, and paid media management
  • 3+ years of experience working with digital marketing measurement KPIs and web instrumentations
  • 8+ years of experience in media, marketing, or advertising (Preferred)
  • Experience working with and influencing product engineering teams, specifically to enable media measurement – defining requirements, developing test scenarios, and planning productions usage
  • Knowledge of paid media ad tech tools (Ad Server, Deal Manager Portal, Demand side Platform, etc.)
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling and analysis
  • Knowledge of the mobile advertising space and measurement strategies

Desirables

  • Paid social experience Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snap, Twitch, Twitter, YouTube
  • Experience with offline paid media channels broadcast TV, cinema, print, audio, out of home
  • Experience with digital media channels pay-per-lead, social, search engine marketing, programmatic buying, addressable TV
  • Experience using data-driven media tactics and advanced targeting models
  • Experience managing projects comms, stakeholder mgmt, timelines, prioritization, road mapping



What the job involves

  • Support the Global Media team and internal stakeholders with developing, enabling, and maintaining digital campaign measurement solutions for all paid media/advertising campaigns
  • Document each measurement solution's capabilities and limitations within Microsoft’s various web environments
  • Ensure compliance of all established processes and procedures related to the use of each measurement solution across internal Microsoft teams and agency partners
  • Partner with operations, marketing, engineering, and analytics teams to drive implementation of AdOps solutions and best practices
  • Manage and advise on Microsoft’s 1st and 3rd Party media tagging and tracking solutions
  • Drive consistency across Microsoft’s campaign tracking instrumentation for site and business analytics
  • Develop site solution designs and specifications documents for all Microsoft’s paid media/advertising campaigns
