Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering required MS preferred
- 7+ years of experience in HVAC mechanical systems or industrial product development
- Mission-critical or data center background strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of thermodynamics fluid mechanics HVAC design and hydronic systems
- Familiarity with prefabricated equipment modular skid systems and DFM practices
- CAD proficiency in SolidWorks Revit AutoCAD or similar
- Working knowledge of electrical distribution controls and BAS BMS systems highly desirable
- Ability to thrive in a remote fast-moving environment with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills for cross-team and vendor customer engagement

Day to day
- Lead mechanical application engineering for prefabricated power and cooling platforms serving data centers and mission-critical markets
- Translate customer requirements into manufacturable modular solutions with clear BOMs options and design packages
- Select size and integrate mechanical components while collaborating with electrical controls supply chain operations sales and vendors
- Support prototyping FAT SAT first-article builds and maintain technical documentation under strict revision control
- Drive platform modularization DFM and VAVE efforts to improve scalability cost and delivery performance
