Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering construction or related discipline or two years’ experience with installation hands-on testing validation and troubleshooting of mechanical and controls infrastructure
  • Minimum eight years’ additional experience with installation hands-on testing validation and troubleshooting of mechanical and controls infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and controls system principles
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite with excellent organizational and documentation skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to complete assignments accurately
  • Skilled in analyzing and preparing technical documents reports and correspondence
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including client-facing interactions
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively managing priorities deadlines and pressure effectively
  • Capable of planning and delegating tasks across project teams
  • Ability to work effectively in remote and on-site environments with strong self-motivation and proactive problem-solving
  • Commitment to following company and site safety requirements
  • Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows and improve operations

Day to day

  • Lead on-site commissioning activities for complex mechanical and controls systems, including inspections, validation, troubleshooting, and functional testing.
  • Collaborate closely with vendors, contractors, engineers, and client teams to coordinate resources, direct testing efforts, and build strong site relationships.
  • Develop commissioning plans, procedures, test scripts, project proposals, and detailed reports while managing timelines, risks, cost controls, and project hours.
