Requirements

  • 7+ years at a large scale EPC PMC owner-operator or OEM
  • Most experience on power generation or gas-to-power projects
  • Direct project experience in combined cycle simple cycle gas-to-power LNG or cogeneration
  • Owned mechanical equipment datasheet development and vendor package review through FEED
  • Strong knowledge of rotating and power-plant equipment including gas turbines steam turbines HRSGs pumps compressors fans and balance of plant mechanical systems
  • Experience with API and ASME equipment specifications including API 610 611 612 617 ASME VIII and B31.1 power piping
  • Experience coordinating OEM turbine and major equipment packages such as GE Vernova Siemens Energy or Mitsubishi Power
  • Ability to spot inconsistencies across datasheets P&IDs and vendor packages quickly
  • Clear understanding of cross-discipline dependencies
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and multiple responsibilities

Day to day

  • Do hands-on mechanical engineering for FEL-2 and early-phase delivery work on power generation and gas-to-power projects.
  • Review and validate mechanical outputs including equipment datasheets vendor packages and discipline handoffs, acting as a quality gate before client delivery.
  • Define repeatable checks workflows and product requirements that reduce rework and clarify interfaces across Process Piping I&C and Electrical.
