Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- 8+ years’ engineering consultancy experience in the UK
- Experience in food and beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Strong leadership communication organisational and project management skills
- Chartered Engineer status preferred or working toward CEng
- Knowledge of UK and international mechanical design standards including CIBSE BS EN and ISO
- Familiarity with ASHRAE and NFPA
- Familiarity with ISPE and HACCP requirements
- Understanding of GMP and MHRA compliance for pharmaceutical facility design and commissioning
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite AutoCAD and working knowledge of Revit and Navisworks

Day to day
- Lead proposal development and manage client relationships across pharma biotech and food manufacturing projects
- Develop conceptual preliminary and detailed mechanical designs drawings and specifications for building and process utilities
- Design and support building utility systems including HVAC dust collection chilled water steam heating water and plumbing
- Support the recruitment development and training of a UK based mechanical design team
