Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineer license required
- 10+ years mechanical design experience in power generation
- Experience with coal natural gas gas-fired or combined cycle plants
- Balance of plant mechanical systems experience
- Mentoring training or leadership experience with engineers
- Hydraulic calculations and pump piping sizing knowledge
- Valve and pipe material selection knowledge
- P&ID development experience
- Mechanical equipment condition assessment experience
- Knowledge of mechanical and environmental air quality codes and standards
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel 10-20%

Day to day
- Lead mechanical scope for power generation projects from front-end planning through startup and commissioning
- Design and size pumps blowers tanks vessels piping systems and related balance of plant equipment for coal natural gas and combined cycle facilities
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary and overseas teams while maintaining design quality and constructible solutions
