Requirements
- BSME in mechanical engineering from an ABET EAC-approved program with a strong academic background
- 12 or more years in the electric power industry
- Experience in detailed design of mechanical systems for conventional power projects
- Experience with simple cycle gas turbines, combined cycle projects, coal fired generation, steam systems, or reciprocating engines
- Experience in development support and conceptual design of conventional power projects
- Excellent technical communication and writing skills
Nice to have
- Technical due diligence experience
- Owner's engineering experience
- Power station operations knowledge
- Process design understanding
- International code familiarity
Day to day
- Provide development support, conceptual design, and owner’s engineer services for electric power projects.
- Perform technical evaluations, engineering design reviews, and technical due diligence for power generation facilities.
- Support project economic and cost analysis, risk assessments, and contract development while collaborating with clients and project teams.
