Requirements
- S. in Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering or similar related discipline plus 5-10 years of relevant engineering experience
- Relevant advanced degree considered in lieu of equivalent experience
- Experience developing complex mechanical systems at scale
- Experience conducting preliminary structural analysis of space systems
- Experience in space system development systems engineering structure thermal design and analysis mechanical and fluid systems and/or manufacturing
- Experience developing technical content for proposals and external customer presentations
- Experience authoring and decomposing mission and system-level requirements
- Strong understanding of the launch space and lunar environments

Day to day
- Develop and review concepts for lunar landers rovers surface power systems and spacecraft
- Perform system-level analysis first order sizing and preliminary structural analysis of space systems
- Design spacecraft structures mechanisms accommodations and configurations in CAD from launch through surface operations
- Translate customer requirements into actionable product goals support proposals and collaborate across engineering business and customer teams
