What the job involves
- Develop and maintain mission-critical enterprise applications used by numerous U-Haul business teams and field locations
- Collaborate closely with team members and business teams across U-Haul
- Write maintainable reliable code following programming best practices
- Act as SME and technical lead for individual applications and high-risk features
- Estimate and break down high-level business and technical requirements
- Interface with business stakeholders and other development teams for scoping and clarification
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving spanning software systems and databases
- Mentor train and support other software developers and perform design & code reviews
- Respond quickly and effectively to production issues ensuring resolution
