Requirements

  • Deep grounding in datacentre physical infrastructure design at campus scale
  • Hyperscale experience on major cloud operator programmes
  • Fluency in TIA-942 TIA-606 EN 50173-5 EN 50174 and ISO/IEC 11801-5
  • Working understanding of power cooling containment and architectural drawings
  • Knowledge of RIBA or local equivalent through completion and handover
  • Experience producing specifications budgets tender documentation and evaluating returns
  • Construction-stage experience including RFIs submittals inspections witness testing and site surveys
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects to deadlines
  • High IT literacy in Bluebeam Visio Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro

Day to day

  • Lead physical infrastructure consultancy for datacentre and mission-critical projects from concept through handover
  • Develop coordinated design reports drawings specifications budgets and equipment schedules across RIBA stages 2-5
  • Design resilient technology spaces fibre architectures containment pathways cabling schemes and construction-stage support packages
