Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Required
- 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering power systems engineering utility engineering distribution planning or distributed energy systems
- Experience working with electric utilities energy developers engineering consulting firms grid operators or related organizations
- Familiarity with distributed energy technologies such as battery storage solar EV charging microgrids or grid modernization technologies
- Experience evaluating technical requirements engineering tradeoffs and system integration challenges
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Passion for innovation problem-solving and improving how the grid operates

Day to day
- Evaluate utility distribution systems and grid planning processes to identify opportunities for distributed energy deployment.
- Work directly with utility engineering planning and operations teams to assess grid needs and integration requirements.
- Develop technical design and deployment strategies for battery storage EV charging and other distributed energy resources.
