Who you are
- 5+ years in support, software services, and/or system administration
- Deep understanding of operating systems (Linux, OS X, Windows)
- Understanding of networks, proxies, load balancers, LDAP, Active Directory, SSL
- Understanding of application server technologies (Tomcat, Apache, WebSphere, JBoss)
- Experience with SQL databases
- Experience in critical issue handling
- Technology driven
- Jira experience is a plus
- Experience analyzing thread and heap dumps
- Experience with enterprise customers
- Must be open to occasional weekends
- Must be able to work 9:00AM - 6:00PM PDT/PST
What the job involves
- Provide consistent quality support experience
- Perform triage, root cause analysis, debugging across Atlassian products
- Lead customer-facing calls for progress updates, action plans, and resolution details
