Requirements
- 5yr+ relevant experience, including build vs buy decisions
- Experience with SQL, ETL, data modelling, and a programming language
- Deep experience in data processing automation, data quality, or data warehousing
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS tech stack
- Knowledge of AirFlow, DBT, Redis, Iceberg, DataHub, MongoDB
- Experience managing computing clusters
- Experience defining data architecture with modern data stack
Day to day
- Define and build data architecture for internal and project use
- Support Head of Data and HR with recruitment processes
- Implement data security models and address data quality issues
- Establish logging and governance processes
- Develop production code, pipelines, dashboards, and frameworks
- Assist in building ML engineering practice with a focus on data
- Collaborate with Head of Data and cross-functional teams to identify data opportunities
