Remote Senior/ Principal Data Engineer Job in UK The Global Strategy Network

Who you are

• 5yr+ relevant experience, including build vs buy decisions
• Experience with SQL, ETL, data modelling, and a programming language
• Deep experience in data processing automation, data quality, or data warehousing
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams

Desirables

• Experience with AWS tech stack
• Knowledge of AirFlow, DBT, Redis, Iceberg, DataHub, MongoDB
• Experience managing computing clusters
• Experience defining data architecture with modern data stack

What the job involves

• Define and build data architecture for internal and project use
• Support Head of Data and HR with recruitment processes
• Implement data security models and address data quality issues
• Establish logging and governance processes
• Develop production code, pipelines, dashboards, and frameworks
• Assist in building ML engineering practice with a focus on data
• Collaborate with Head of Data and cross-functional teams to identify data opportunities
