Role


Who you are

  • Experience in electrical engineering with EMC focus
  • Expertise in writing engineering safety cases addressing EMC compliance
  • Understanding of power electronics, AC machines, and control systems
  • Experience in risk assessment methodologies and hazard management
  • Knowledge of the Energy NTSN is desirable
  • Proficiency in simulating traction equipment and analysing data
  • Excellent technical report writing skills
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders and collaborate effectively


What the job involves

  • Lead and contribute to a wide range of projects for esteemed clients
  • Collaborate with Principal EMC Engineers for high-quality project delivery
  • Develop engineering safety cases with a focus on EMC aspects
  • Mitigate interference from power electronics, machines, and control systems
  • Utilize simulation and modelling techniques for analysis
  • Prepare technical engineering reports and safety justifications
  • Engage with infrastructure controllers, regulatory bodies, and industry partners
