Who you are

• Product Analytics experience
• Expert in SQL and working with relational databases
• Experience with BI tools and data visualization
• Experience with programming languages like Python or R
• Experience working with tracking solutions like Snowplow
• Experience with engineering development processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical colleagues
• Comfortable with answering unstructured business questions
• Ability to work independently and be self-directed while working within a collaborative team environment
• Experience in a cross-functional and stakeholder-focused data role

Desirables

• Proficient in Snowflake, Hex, Snowplow, dbt, Statsig, Looker, Kubit
• Experience with experimental design and experimentation platforms

What the job involves

• Partner closely with engineers and product managers to design and set up experiments for new feature releases
• Guide back-end and front-end tracking for web and mobile app experiences for accurate data reporting
• Monitor business trends and recommend focus areas, analyze effectiveness of product initiatives and experiments to advise next steps, and build interactive and intuitive reporting in Looker and Hex
• Define metrics and dimensions, teach others how to understand and use shared vocabulary, actively listen to improve data knowledge, and educate stakeholders and analysts
• Own the prioritization process for analytics projects and collaborate with Emerging Sports Group and the Data and Analytics (DNA) team
