Pinterest is looking for a methodical and thoughtful Senior Product Designer with a passion for crafting intuitive, consistent and delightful experiences. You’ll partner with the Merchant at Scale Product Design team and work closely with the Shopping Partner experience (SPX) product team to evolve one the core building blocks of the merchant experience.
You have a knack for visual details as much as holistic systems thinking. You’re a problem solver, and your designs reflect your ability to advocate for the user. You’re passionate about our mission, raising the quality bar, and making the basics great.
 What You'll Do:
Design products—systematically, interactively, visually—with pixel-level precisionCollaborate closely with engineering, product management, and research to develop impactful, user-centric, and data-informed solutionsCollaborate with and manage feedback from stakeholders across the companyWork alongside engineers throughout the implementation and quality assurance phasesUphold and inspire a high level of design execution across the team
What We're Looking For:
Must have experience designing for B2B tools, having content or merchant domain knowledge is a plusProven track record envisioning, building, and iterating on digital products in close partnership with product management and engineeringStrong portfolio that demonstrates outstanding design skills (prototyping is a must) and product thinking informed by qualitative and quantitative insightsGreat communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate your design decisions and the problems they’re solvingAttention to detail and a sense of pride and ownership over the quality of the productSolid understanding of layout, typography, color, and other graphic design principlesAbility to work within and extend a design system. Experience working in design systems and/or product redesigns is a plusTeam player with strong collaboration skills and ability bring cross-functional partners along in the journeyHigh level of self-awareness with a growth mindset
About Contracting:
This is a contract position at Pinterest. As such, the contractor who fills this role will be employed either by our staffing partner (Magnit) or by an agency partner, and not an employee of Pinterest.All interviews will be scheduled and/or conducted by the Pinterest assignment manager. When a finalist has been selected, Magnit or the agency partner will extend the offer and provide assignment details including duration, benefits options and onboarding details.The estimated salary range for this contract position is $110 - $125/hour based on experience and location.
