Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field
  • Minimum five years of experience in system-level engineering in material handling automation or capital equipment
  • Experience with 3D CAD tools such as Inventor AutoCAD or SolidWorks
  • Ability to develop full technical data packages including drawings BOMs and manuals
  • Proven ability to balance design intent with execution realities and manage scope cost and resources
  • Strong track record of project execution from engineering through on-site installation
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
  • Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain required travel documentation including a valid passport
  • Must be able to lawfully enter and exit the United States and other required countries
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Day to day

  • Lead engineering execution for large-scale customer-facing system integration projects from concept through commissioning
  • Translate customer and internal requirements into practical engineering plans and coordinate mechanical design equipment specifications and site implementation
  • Collaborate across Mechanical Controls Electrical and Software teams to align deliverables troubleshoot issues and maintain schedule adherence
  • Manage engineering resources and support FAT SAT commissioning and field issue resolution while engaging directly with customers
