The Team:Join a cross-functional agile delivery team comprising 4 Engineers, 2 QA Engineers, an Engineering Manager, a Product Manager, and an Agile Delivery Manager.
Role Overview:As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be embedded in a technical QA role, contributing to unit and component-level testing and mocking to reduce the dependency on end-to-end tests. The project focuses on shifting testing lower down the test pyramid, decoupling tests using microservices, employing contract testing with Pact, and minimizing reliance on large end-to-end tests.
About You:Proficient in writing Java code dailyExperienced in API testing and automation with Rest AssuredFamiliar with WiremockKnowledgeable in AWS, particularly leveraging S3 and CloudFormationSkilled in managing testing within CI/CD environments, particularly JenkinsHands-on experience with Kubernetes and DockerExperience with Kafka or contract testing is highly desirablePayment or FinTech experience is useful but not essential
