Who you are

  • Proficient in Typescript, Python, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
  • Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda service, Step Functions, DynamoDB, AWS Session manager, CloudWatch
  • Understanding of single-page web app design
  • Ability to work independently and across teams
  • Good technical writing and communication skills
  • Linux systems administration knowledge including containers
  • Understanding of operating large-scale distributed systems
  • Slack skills for online coordination
  • Strong analytical skills to identify problem root causes
  • Interest in functional programming styles
  • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 4+ years of work experience as a software engineer


What the job involves

  • Contributing to Oracle's MySQL Heatwave team to directly improve the experience for Oracle's customers
  • Designing and implementing complex features independently
  • Developing a complex distributed system using a serverless architecture.
