Who you are

  • Significant experience in IT security, compliance and risk management, including privacy, controls, etc.
  • Proven and significant experience working with security reference architectures for all-in cloud deployments and/or hybrid scenarios
  • Understanding architectural implications of meeting industry standards such as ISO 27001, UK Official
  • Hands-on technical expertise in building AWS cloud security capabilities in code and deploying infrastructure in code
  • Implementation experience with enterprise security solutions such as WAF, IPS, Anti-DDOS, and SIEM
  • Experience in supporting internal and external customers.
  • Understanding of enterprise risk management methods and techniques to drive successful outcomes in complex public sector or highly regulated organisations
  • Degree or equivalent experience; Computer Science or Math background preferred

What the job involves

  • Deliver architecture guidance, develop security infrastructure and patterns in code, lead proof-of-concept projects, and conduct security workshops for customers
  • Collaborate with customers to address security and compliance challenges, and help implement and migrate customer solutions and workloads onto AWS
  • Work with AWS engineering, support and business teams to convey partner and customer feedback as input to AWS technology roadmaps
  • Define and deliver on-site technical engagements with partners and customers to solve problems and identify opportunities
  • Collect, capture, package and share knowledge with new customers, partners, and AWS employees to develop tools, services, and new artefacts
