Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in IT security engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years engineering and supporting enterprise security platforms
  • 3+ years administering and engineering Splunk environments including Splunk Enterprise Security
  • Experience onboarding normalizing and managing security telemetry across multiple data sources
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity operations security architecture and risk management
  • Strong understanding of networking infrastructure and system design principles
  • Strong proficiency with Windows and Linux systems
  • Experience with data visualization tools and analytical problem-solving
  • Experience scripting and automating workflows using PowerShell Bash Python or similar languages
  • Strong organizational troubleshooting and project management skills
  • Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Must be a citizen of the United States

Day to day

  • Serve as a senior technical leader for the engineering team supporting managed security services
  • Design implement and maintain security platforms that power SOC detection engineering and managed services operations
  • Lead onboarding normalization enrichment and optimization of security telemetry while solving complex integration performance and architecture challenges
  • Develop automation integrations and scalable multi-tenant solutions that improve efficiency service delivery and client outcomes
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients mentor engineers and contribute to platform health lifecycle management and emerging technology evaluation
