Requirements
- Level 3 qualification or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Experience in plant maintenance fault finding and equipment servicing
- Experience with water treatment or water purification systems
- Previous experience as a mobile or field service engineer
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong technical problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Good computer literacy and report writing skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel extensively within the UK and stay away from home when required
- Flexibility to work overtime as required
- Strong commitment to health safety and quality standards
Nice to have
- Electromechanical background
- ONC HNC qualified
- 18th Edition
- Industry knowledge
- Coaching experience
Day to day
- Install, commission, service, calibrate and repair specialist water treatment and purification equipment at customer sites.
- Diagnose complex faults, complete preventative maintenance, and produce clear service reports and technical recommendations.
- Support junior engineers through coaching, training, and technical guidance while helping grow customer relationships and service opportunities.
