Remote Senior Site Reliability Engineer Job in Vermont, United States Microsoft

Who you are

• 6+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration OR a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration OR a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 2+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration
• 3+ years direct experience managing Entra ID (Azure AD) (or similar cloud-based identity and access management services end-to-end)
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role, including passing the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Desirables

• 7+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration
• 5+ years direct experience managing Entra ID/Azure AD (or similar cloud-based identity and access management services end-to-end)
• 3+ years building and deploying large-scale cloud infrastructure services on Azure (or similar hyperscale platforms)

What the job involves

• Design solutions addressing identified control issues in security policy and standards across the service, while prioritizing development and implementation efforts.
• Design, develop, and implement automation of identity and access management related tasks.
• Drive efforts within the organization to identify and recommend optimal configurations of cloud technology solutions and develop or modify the code base.
• Respond to incidents during regular on-call rotations and share details related to incidents and their resolution through post-mortem reports and regular review meetings.
