Remote Senior Software Design Engineer Job in United States Mattermost

Who you are

What the job involves

• Work closely with Mattermost’s top customers to design build and ship bespoke features and integrations that help them get the most out of Mattermost
• Understand customer requirements rapidly iterate to develop solutions and deploy them much quicker than traditional product development lifecycles
• Identify future features to bring into the core Mattermost product and work with the product & engineering team
• Utilize deep technical knowledge to guide customers deploying Mattermost to large scale and highly resilient on-prem installations and private cloud (e.g. AWS Azure)
• Assist leaders in the tech space financial federal and other industries
• Build custom software solutions using primarily Go and SQL
• Drive non-standard deployments to a healthy state
• Provide deployment and upgrade guidance using high scale documentation health checks load test deployment tooling & reference architectures
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve deployment processes and refine best practices
• Collaborate with other engineering and product teams to share knowledge learnings
• Assist Customer Success and Support teams with troubleshooting and incident response
