Remote Senior Software Engineer Job in UK Oracle

Who you are

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or tech unit graduate
• 4+ years of practical experience developing distributed systems
• Experience driving feature design reviews, documentation, UX reviews, and working with Product Managers through the entire launch process
• Strong development experience in Java, C++, C#, or similar OO languages
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals
• Practical familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures
• Good understanding of databases (SQL & NoSQL), storage and distributed persistence technologies

Desirables

• Developing services on public cloud platforms
• Building multi-tenant virtualized infrastructure
• Building CI/CD pipelines
• Applying threat modeling or risk identification techniques
• Understanding of Cryptography, DDoS, CVE, CIS, SAST, DAST
