Remote Senior Software Engineering Manager Job in Redmond, WA Microsoft

Who you are

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science OR related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Equivalent experience accepted
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check
• Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and leads engineering practices
• Optimizes and debugs code to enhance performance
• Collaborates with stakeholders to drive project and release plans

Desirables

• Experience in storage and file systems
• Experience in development of cloud services and distributed systems
• Experience with debugging tools like WinDBG, Wireshark
• Multi-year native C/C++ coding skills

What the job involves

• Lead an engineering team, driving the design, implementation, and optimization of Azure Storage services.
• Develop features to improve performance and scale of Azure Storage services.
